ABOUT ME
I graduated from the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in 2016 and went on to establish a structural integration practice in Colorado. I was originally drawn to this work through my interest in the connection between the body and our emotional experiences, and that curiosity continues to inform my approach today.
My work is guided by the belief that the body responds best when it’s met with patience, sensitivity, and respect. Rather than forcing change, I use slow, sustained pressure and listen through my hands for the body's response, allowing time for areas of tension to soften and release before going deeper.
Every body is different, and I approach each session with curiosity and intuition, adapting to what I feel and what the body is ready for. When an area is particularly restricted, I find that easing the pressure, letting the body know it’s safe, and allowing space for change can be more effective than pushing through resistance.
I believe structural integration is about more than addressing physical tension. It's an opportunity to develop a deeper relationship with your body, explore longstanding patterns, and discover greater ease and freedom in how you move and feel.
My intention is to create a space where your body is met with care rather than force, and where change can unfold at its own pace.
I look forward to working with you.
WHAT TO EXPECT
I don’t use lotion in my work, and I ask that you don’t wear any thick lotions or oils to our sessions. I use very slow, sustained pressure to release areas of tension, and oily residue makes it hard to anchor in to those areas.
Our sessions will be performed mainly on a massage table, but because at times I work on clients while seated on a bench, I ask that you be partially clothed during our sessions.
Wear something that you’d be comfortable with me seeing you in.
WOMEN: Typically women wear either underwear, running shorts or yoga pants and a bra with simple straps (to make it easy to work around).
MEN: Men wear underwear or workout shorts to their sessions.
No jeans or thick materials that would be hard to work through.
